Ok for the 1st week i did this water effect design it was new for me, because i never used the layer mask tool and i figured out what it was.I liked the tutorial i did to learn this it was very interesting on every step i did.One thintg i wanna learn this year is more texture with people and more crazy designs with srokes and 3d text effects smething that gets peoples attention and make there jaws droping saying "wow how do they do this its freking amazazazing!" haha, but yeah this is what i made and these are things i wanna learn.
I like the forest picture you used in the middle. You might try lightening up the opacity on the brush before painting the mask.This should help smooth the change from the paper to the picture underneath.
