Ok so what i did here was i changed the lighting by using curves. what I've started doing was using a low lighting and i add a second curve and i would make it brighter so it doesn't just use one but too curves..it just makes the person or object pop out more especially the background when you use a blending option and/or blur, like how i did in this picture.
